The year of 2018 was a rewarding year for the Nature Bridges team. We are proud of our firm and the many admirable projects we’ve had the opportunity to complete since our establishment in 1997. As we continue to grow, so do our goals, our team, and our craftsmanship. Looking back on 2018, we are grateful for such a wonderful year and beautiful communities to build in.

Building a strong foundation is important not just in our work, but in our lives. We believe in the importance of setting goals and working every day towards those goals.

As we move into 2019, we’d like to share some of our intentions for the year.

Travel:

A new year, a clean slate, and a world of possibilities inspires us to travel and reach new heights as a company. While we are headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida, our team is open and eager to build in new places and new states. In 2019, it would be monumental to build in 2 states we haven’t already. Our project manager, Will Harrelson, says one of his favorite parts of his job, is getting to travel and meet new people.

Thinking Ahead:

Forget thinking short term, in 2019 we’re setting our sights high and thinking years ahead. We are committed to outstanding work and service, and demand the best of ourselves. We are dedicated to developing our skills and will continue to maintain membership in three major industry associations, allowing us to provide continuous education for our employees.

Large Scale Projects:

We serve communities large and small, and are happy to assist you in achieving your goals. Our team has been afforded the opportunity to design, construct and manage various projects for federal and state agencies. We would love to continue building our relationships with government agencies and contract for large scale projects to bring communities together.

Prioritizing Balance:

Life is all about balance. At Nature Bridges, we’re committed to our employees and the passion we have to do great work. In 2019, we’re finding beauty in the little things. Whether it’s to stop and snap a photo of the view as we work, to come together for lunch and conversation, or take a breath to admire the nature around us, in 2019, we’ll remember that we can find joy in even the small things.

Communication:

Our bridges, overlooks, hardscapes and more bring people together. Finding time to walk a trail, visit a park and spend time being outdoors and with those you love solidifies the work we do. In 2019, we would love to grow in our communications, and engage with people in the communities we’ve worked in. Our team often notes on the joy of meeting new, friendly people within the cities and states we build in.
