A road trip is a great way to get out of your comfort zone and explore the world. If you’ve never had the chance to plan one before, Nature Bridges has made it easy and planned it for you! Except, this isn’t just any ole’ road trip. This is the Nature Bridges road trip. On this trip, you’ll get to explore some of our beautiful projects and visit new places. Check out the itinerary below.

Nature Bridges Road Trip on Roadtrippers

Starting Point: Tallahassee, Fl.

Florida’s Panhandle is home to many of our projects, but we are starting off in the Capital City of Tallahassee. Here you can find one of our projects at Lafayette Heritage Trail.

Stop 1: Atlanta, GA.

Atlanta is a bustling city with lots to see and do. You can explore the Georgia Aquarium, catch a Braves game at SunTrust Park, grab some grub at the Ponce City Market, and explore nature at Southfork Peach Tree Creek, one of our favorite projects.

Stop 2: Chattanooga, TN.

Next stop is the “Scenic City”. Full of beauty and nature, there are many things to get out and do here. Visit Rock City for some scenic views, or Ruby Falls to observe the waterfalls. Or take a pit stop at South Chickamauga Creek for one of our Nature Bridges.

 

PIT-STOP: Birmingham, AL.

We’re making our way back down now. Take a break in Birmingham to eat some delicious southern cooking, or stretch your legs at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Stop 3: Walton County, FL.

Get your beach fix at stop number 3. On your visit to Walton County, you can ride along 30A and explore Seaside and Rosemary Beach. Head up Highway 331 to check out our work at Thomas Pilcher Park.

Stop 4: Panama City Beach

Next stop is PCB, the ultimate vacation destination. Enjoy fresh seafood, fun attractions, and feel the white sand between your toes. While you’re at the beach, check out the Dan Russell Pier across from Pier Park. This was a fun project for Nature Bridges to complete, and the view made it all the better!

Ending Point: Tallahassee, FL.
