Nature Bridges was contracted to build a 10’ x 400’ wooden and fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) pedestrian bridge system with a 10’ x 77’ FPR free-span bridge. This FPR free-span bridge was the first of its kind to be installed in the state of Florida and is able to withstand sustainable winds up to 140 mph. Southfork Peachtree Creek Trail

The South Fork Peachtree Creek Trail is a one mile long, twelve-foot-wide trail system that connects Spring Creek Road, via crosswalk across North Druid Hills Road, to the well-used Mason Mill-to-Medlock Trail. The trail consists mainly of boardwalk, with some sections up to 20 feet above ground, through tree canopies creating a scenic walk through the trees and above South Peachtree Creek. As a company dedicated to sustaining the natural beauty of our environment, we were honored to lend a hand to the restoration of Salinas Park in Cape San Blas, a town that felt the devastating effects of Hurricane Michael. Neabsco Creek Boardwalk

Our team had the honor of building the Neabsco Creek Boardwalk, constructed along the Potomac River in Woodbridge, Virginia. As the newest segment of the 700-mile Potomac Heritage Scenic Trail, this wetland trail system connects neighborhoods, schools, and other attractions by creating a newly designated regional park with the connective boardwalk as its uniting centerpiece. Neabsco Creek Boardwalk is 10’ wide and 3,300’ long, with a two-level observation deck, a single-level observation deck, and three overlooks. New Smyrna Dunes Park

Nature Bridges was contracted to construct the much-needed new boardwalks at New Smyrna Dunes Park in Volusia County, Florida. The project consisted of construction of approximately 10,700 linear feet of an eight (8) foot clear width multi-use pedestrian boardwalk both top down and typical, ramps, steps, single and 2 story overlooks, as well as dune walkovers. Fort Gordon Golf Course

The completed project consists of three free-span golf course bridges in various locations throughout the Gordon Lakes Golf Course. The bridges measure from 40’ to 62’ in length. All three bridges are constructed with glue lam free-span girters with 4 x 12 timber decking. Lafayette Heritage Trail

Nature Bridges, the Award Winning timber bridge contractor and beach boardwalk builder, completed a free-span pedestrian railroad overpass, pedestrian timber truss bridge, and boardwalks at beautiful Lafayette Heritage Park in Tallahassee, FL.
