This year, Father’s Day falls on Sunday, June 21st, and we’re sharing some ideas for ways to make it extra special! What better way to honor the father figures in your life than by helping them enjoy the fresh air? You can spend time with your dad outdoors while practicing social distancing or plan activities for him to do on his own time. Plan a scenic picnic, gift him a round of golf, or even go on a socially-distanced bike ride with him on a new biking trail. If hiking is dad’s preferred recreational activity, visit somewhere like Neabsco Regional Park in Woodbridge, Virginia. This park sits on the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail and provides a chance to view the Potomac waterfront. There’s no better way to spend a relaxing Father’s Day!
