The Nocatee Greenway Trail System is over 5,000 acres of connecting parks, protected wildlife corridors, and wetland preserves located in the Town of Nocatee in the Jacksonville, Florida area. The bridges and boardwalk in the Nocatee preserve will allow for the connection of the trails to all the neighborhood villages and Town Center. Hiking trails and boardwalks dispersed throughout the preserve allow its residents to experience nature in an up close and personal way.

Nature Bridges’ completion of the vehicular timber bridge is the first of several they are constructing. The recently completed Nature Bridge is a 5 ton, 16’ x 200 linear foot light vehicular bridge and is located near the Nocatee trail head that leads to Nocatee’s Community and Water Park. The bridge will be used for pedestrian traffic, including biking, rollerblading and rides around the preserve in an electric golf cart. The goal of the Nocatee community is to have available resources such as stores, entertainment, park and other types of shopping within walking distance. This will allow its residents to become more familiar with their neighbors and storeowners while enjoying the amenities the community has to offer.
