Every year, Nature Bridges recognizes remarkable projects from the past 365 days. This year, we wanted to highlight some of our favorites that allowed us to achieve the goals we set forth for the year. From traveling to different states to creating larger scale projects, we set our sights high while demanding the best from ourselves, as well as the best for the environment around us. As a leading bridge construction company specializing in top down construction, we are driven by the desire to produce superior craftsmanship through conscientious construction in environmentally sensitive areas. Interested in a glimpse into what 2019 looked like for us? Keep reading for five of our favorites of 2019.
Salinas Park
As a company dedicated to sustaining the natural beauty of our environment, we were honored to lend a hand to the restoration of Salinas Park in Cape San Blas, a town that felt the devastating effects of Hurricane Michael. Our team was able to build boardwalks, observation platforms, a bike repair station, pickleball courts, and a playground with shade pavilions at this spot along the bay.
Swan Woods Trail
The Nature Bridges team was so excited to lend our touch to the amazing Atlanta History Center by working on the Swan Woods Trail. Our expert craftsmen worked to construct a boardwalk and bridge to connect the Swan House driveway to the cabin in the woods.
Yellowstone Club
One of our favorite projects of 2019 was a golf cart bridge we constructed at Yellowstone Club, a stunning private ski and golf club in Big Sky, Montana. We worked to create a durable, yet delicate, bridge that fits seamlessly into the environment that houses it.
Neabsco Creek
2019 brought our team to Woodbridge, Virginia where we had the pleasure of working on the Neabsco Creek Boardwalk. This wetland trail system features top-down constructed boardwalks, timber glulam bridges, and an observation tower for visitors to enjoy as they take in the breathtaking environment around them. As a top down, eco-conscious construction company, Nature Bridges prioritizes preserving natural habits throughout construction.
Innerarity Point Park
Our Nature Bridges team was thrilled to travel to Pensacola, Florida to build this structure in beautiful Innerarity Point Park. This ADA compliant recreation facility includes ipe hardwood decking, custom metal railings, floating docks, and kayak launches. Our team worked tirelessly to make this piece of the great outdoors a perfect escape for all nature lovers.
This year has been full of fun, challenges, and growth for the Nature Bridges’ team. We can’t wait to apply the knowledge we’ve learned towards our future projects. Want a chance to be featured as a favorite project of 2020? Give us a call today at (850) 997-8585 to start planning your project!
