The benefits of adding a trail to a park or community space go beyond the aesthetic and functionality of your space. In addition to raising the value of the property, trail systems can create positive changes in your community. They promote an active lifestyle by connecting people with safe and accessible opportunities to walk, hike, jog, and bike. People of all ages can benefit from recreational, active transportation, and multi-use trail systems. Our goal is to develop functional trails with pleasing aesthetics that add value to the property, while also creating a place for community, activity, and transportation.
We build trails on various types of terrain with the environment in mind. Our company is centered around conserving the environment, and we put conservation at the forefront of every project decision. Our team goes above and beyond to ensure we are building in the most efficient and environmentally friendly way possible with our top-down construction method. We’re proud to tailor recreational trails and multi-use trail systems to fulfill our clients’ needs without causing damage to the surrounding property.
Our team is also committed to completing projects on time with quality work and outstanding service. We are receptive to recommendations and requests from clients at all stages of the construction process. If you would like to bring life back into an existing trail, we provide a maintenance program that allows our team of experts to help restore and preserve the trail for years to come. We would be happy to start talking through your ideas for a new trail system. There are ways to receive government funding to build, maintain, and restore recreational trails. The Federal Recreational Trails Program (RTP) provides funds to states to help develop and maintain recreational trails and trail-related facilities for both non-motorized and motorized recreational trail uses. Funding for these projects depends on the purpose and scale of the plan. Projects eligible for funding include:
- Maintenance and restoration of existing recreational trails
- Development and rehabilitation of trailside and trailhead facilities and trail linkages for recreational trails
- Purchase and lease of recreational trail construction and maintenance equipment
- Construction of new recreational trails (with specific requirements when federal land is involved)
