Looking for a special way to spend Valentine’s Day with your loved one? Taking a boardwalk stroll, exploring a nature trail or going on a picnic would all be unique ways to celebrate the day. Spending time in nature is a wonderful way to connect with our natural surroundings and connect with one another. We have worked on a variety of projects across the country, so no matter where you are you can enjoy these impressive settings. Here are some of our favorite locations that we’ve worked on which would make a beautiful backdrop for your romantic day.
Innerarity Point Park – Pensacola, FL
Located in Pensacola, Florida, this park has a gorgeous view of the Gulf coast’s emerald waters. A nature lover’s escape, this recreational facility offers exceptional waterfront access to the Intracoastal Waterway. Nature Bridges constructed ADA accessible boardwalks, floating docks, kayak launches, and custom metal railings. It would be a great spot to kayak with your sweetheart or just sit back and take in the sunset view together.
Salinas Park – Cape San Blas, FL
A location that is special in our hearts is Salinas Park in Cape San Blas, Florida. It was an honor to work on this beautiful park which lies in an area that was affected by Hurricane Michael. We worked on building boardwalks, observation platforms and shade pavilions among this stunning landscape. The tranquil views of the St. Joseph Bay are a spectacular site to behold, making it the perfect place to spend time with someone special.
Swan Woods Trail Boardwalk, Atlanta History Center – Atlanta, GA
Take a romantic walk through the gardens and trails this Valentine’s Day at the Atlanta History Center in Atlanta, Georgia. These beautiful trails meander beneath towering beech, pine, and tulip trees. Follow Swan Woods Trail to the Garden of Peace for a serene retreat. Our team worked to construct a boardwalk and bridge to connect the Swan House driveway to the cabin in the woods.
Yellowstone Golf Club – Big Sky, MT
One of the most impressive locations we’ve worked on has been in Big Sky, Montana at the Yellowstone Golf Club. Located in the Rocky Mountains, the streams, waterfalls and mountain views are nothing short of breathtaking. Nature bridges was contracted to replace and rebuild multiple golf cart bridges and the curbing and decking repair on this stunning property. If you find yourself in this beautiful part of the world, be sure to stop by for a round of golf!
New Smyrna Dunes Park – New Smyrna Beach, FL
This park is located on one of the most beautiful beaches on the Atlantic coast. The precious dunes are not only gorgeous, they are also a natural barrier, protecting homes and businesses from coastal water damage. We were proud to work on this extensive project using our Top-Down construction method so park visitors and beach goers can appreciate this natural landscape without disturbing the delicate habitat. Nature Bridges constructed over ten thousand feet of boardwalk, an observation platform and pavilions that are perfect for a picnic.
It is our goal to bring people into the most delicate of habitats while promoting conservation. We hope our suggested locations inspire you to get outdoors and spend time with those you love while appreciating the natural beauty of the environments around us. Whatever you decide to do this Valentine’s Day, we hope you have a wonderful day with someone special!
